A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of taking some 1 year pictures for one of my son's girl friends. Anna is the sweetest girl around and her mom and I are secretly planning their wedding already! We love you Anna!

On Display {Portland Family Photographer}
So many clients receive their gallery of images and say they don't know what to do! It's hard to visualize what you want and what your pictures will look like once they are on display. Here are a few visuals to help you out (and here's a sneak peek at a family session I did last weekend).
If I'm being completely honest, I used to be so against huge family pictures on display. As I'm sure you can tell, I'm not into super formal, posed shots. Now that family photography is so much more relaxed, artistic and reflective of real families, I really love to see family photos on display.
Where an 11x14 use to sound huge to me, I can finally see how dwarfed a canvas of that size can look on a wall.
Here is a 30x40 which looks much more in place on a wall above a couch.
And if that is too big for you, a grouping of canvases looks great together and provides a similar effect without being quite so large.
Hopefully this helps give you an idea of what might be possible with pictures from your session or with pictures you already have. Please don't hesitate to ask for assistance choosing or grouping your photos. I have so many ideas!

Big T {Portland Newborn Photographer}
I have been blessed with many adorable and photogenic nieces and nephews. Theresa is the newest addition and is such a doll. I love calling her Big T because she is in fact a tiny little thing. She was already a month in these pictures and was as easy and small as the other newborns I've had the pleasure of photographing.
It was a blast doing this shoot at my house (and yes, I'm happy to shoot any newborns here). So easy and I had so many ideas! Enjoy this peek into her session (caution- this post is picture heavy)!
A Walk in the Park {Oregon Baby Photographer}
A few weeks ago I packed the family into the car and drove us out to Clatskanie to take pictures of adorable Will (remember him?). He was such a happy baby and I still can't get enough of those cheeks! Love you little Will!

Photographing newborns is a lot of behind the scenes work. I shot newborn Theresa's session at my house and my little Ben was very interested. Here he is keeping an eye on his cousin (and you can get a glimpse of the behind the scenes glamour and tricks of the trade).

As Promised {Portland Newborn Photographer}
Today I met my niece, Theresa. She isn't quite a newborn (born about a month ago) but she was such a tiny thing she is still smaller than many newborns. She was the most content baby I've ever photographed. I promised my sister-in-law that I would share some shots as soon as possible. I could hardly pick my favorites. Stay tuned for more later this week!

Just Us {Portland Children's Photographer}
The family and I were lucky to spend last Saturday at the beach in anticipation for the 4th. It was absolutely gorgeous and Ben loved the sand! It was his third time at the beach but his first playing around. He even braved the freezing Oregon water and jumped in (fully clothed). Cooper had a blast as well!
Surprise {Portland Children's Photographer}
A few weeks ago I took pictures of my adorable niece and nephew as a surprise for my sister's birthday. The whole thing was planned and executed by her amazing husband and I think she was super surprised. Don't I have the cutest niece and nephew ever? I had such a blast with them and they were photo superstars! I've been not so patiently waiting to share these pictures for awhile now!
