What to Wear Wednesday {Portland Photographer}
Urban sessions are always fun and offer a variety of shooting options. Here are some outfit ideas for sisters (for brothers see here).
Accessories are fun to bring along on a shoot (like the hat and sunglasses below). They bring personality and fun to a couple shots and can be put away for a different look.
Casting Call- Senior {Portland Senior Photographer}
Senior year is such an amazing time. I am so excited to start offering senior sessions and have only a few slots available this year. In honor of the end of the school year I am looking for a great senior(s) to become my spokesmodel(s) for the 2010-2011 school year. I am looking for seniors who:
- love to be in front of the camera.
- are involved in school and/or community activities.
- are willing to help promote LLP in exchange for print credits or gift cards.
- are up for anything.
What my spokesmodels will get*:
- a free session (or two shorter sessions) with me (Lindsey Lyons)
- digital, watermarked images to share on Facebook or MySpace and by email
- discounts on any products I offer (prints, canvases, albums, etc)
- 2 free 5x7's and 1 free 8x10
- additional compensation for every senior you refer who books a session with Lindsey Lyons Photography

Seattle Photo Walk- Li {Portland Portrait Photographer}
This past weekend Nate, Ben and I hauled ourselves and a carload of baby gear up to Seattle where I participated in the I ♥ Faces Photowalk. Not only was it fun to photograph some lovely ladies but it was such a great opportunity to meet some other photographers and be able to geek out with them!

Baby Meg {Lake Oswego Newborn Photographer}
There is something about newborns. I can never quite believe how tiny and sweet they are. Meg was no exception. She was laid back and has the sweetest head of blonde hair I have ever seen!

Please help {Portland Family Photographer}
On Friday, June 4th a young boy went missing from Skyline Elementary School. Just last October I had a photo shoot at Skyline and now can't imagine the impact this is having on the school and community (not to mention his poor family).
Please keep your eyes open for anything that might help bring sweet Kyron home. I cannot even begin to imagine what this family is going through.

Clients frequently ask what to wear to their photo session. Gone are the days of everyone in the family wearing jeans and matching shirts. My favorite look is one that shows off your family and your personality.
Each Wednesday I will showcase an ensemble of looks to help give you an idea of what might work for your photo shoot. Remember to keep it relaxed and comfortable and wear something you can play in!

Puppy Love {Portland Family Photographer}
A few weekends ago I got to spend time with some of my favorite people in one of my favorite places. My sister and her family (Kirby the dog included) let me follow them around with my camera while they played downtown. We ended the day the most perfect way possible- getting ice cream. Thanks sister and family!

K turns 2! {Tigard Children's Photographer}
Happy Birthday K! We met down at Cook Park in Tigard on another gorgeous day! K was the perfect 2 year old model and very talkative. I had a blast following her around and seeing her sweet little brother who I took newborn pictures of just 3 months ago! Time flies!
A Little Sunshine {Portland Family Photographer}
This past weekend was absolutely gorgeous. The sun was shining and it was actually warm! Early Friday morning I headed down to Tom McCall Waterfront Park to shoot some family portraits. It was bright but we made it work and had a blast capturing memories before the A family moves back to the UK! Thanks A Family! Oregon will miss you!
